Essential cookies are required for PetMate to function properly. They enable core features such as authentication, security, and session management. These cookies cannot be disabled as the site would not work without them.

Analytics is disabled by default and loads only after you opt in. When enabled, it helps us understand page visits and product usage so we can improve the service.

Preference cookies allow PetMate to remember your choices and settings, such as your preferred language, region, and display preferences. They provide a more personalized experience across visits.

PetMate does not currently set marketing cookies. If marketing technology is introduced, it will remain disabled until you opt in and this policy will be updated.

Maps From OpenStreetMap

Pet, event, lost-pet and listing pages can show a map from openstreetmap.org. It is not loaded until you press “Show map”; loading it sends your IP address and the shown location to the OpenStreetMap Foundation, which may set its own cookies inside the map frame. Your choice is remembered in this browser (local storage, not a cookie) and you can clear it through your browser’s site data settings.

Managing Your Preferences

You can change or withdraw your optional cookie preferences at any time. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of PetMate.
